School Assistance Program (SAP)

The Ottawa Tribe School Assistance Program is pleased to offer tribally enrolled Ottawa children with funding for school clothes and school supplies. The following rules apply to the program:

  • Family must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Ottawa tribal office in Miami, OK
  • Child must be entering Pre-K (4 years old) through 12th grade for current school year
  • Parents must complete the attached application
  • Parent must have copies of required documents (tribal enrollment card, birth certificate, & proof of residence) for EACH child eligible for funding

Look for announcements in July on the Ottawa Facebook page for deadlines and announcements about when, where, and how to shop for supplies.

**You may elect to purchase items and be reimbursed $125 per child, but note that reimbursement will NOT be made without submitting the ORIGINAL receipt to ICW.

**NO items on the receipt except school clothes/school supplies (do NOT buy any food, drink, cleaning or household items, etc.)
