These instructions are mailed with the Absentee Ballot

(1) Absentee ballots are issued to qualified Ottawa Tribal members upon written request. No phone messages.

(2) The Absentee Ballots carry the signature of the Chairman of the Election Committee and carry the seal of THE OTTAWA TRIBE OF OKLAHOMA Attested to by the Election Committee Member

(3) Absentee Ballots cannot be copied. Only the original will be counted after verification by the Election Committee.

(4) Place your marked official ballot in the small envelope provided and seal it.

(5) Mail the sealed envelope in a legal-size envelope and mail or hand deliver to the Tribal Office.

(6) Absentee Ballots MUST be received by the tribal office by 4:00pm CDT on May 3, 2024.

(7) Persons who request to vote by Absentee Ballot will not be eligible to vote in person at the election on May 4, 2024. No Absentee Ballots will be accepted after 4:00pm CDT May 3, 2024.
