2024 Ottawa Tribal School Assistance Program

The Ottawa Tribe School Assistance Program is pleased to offer all tribally enrolled Ottawa children funding for school clothes and school supplies. The following rules apply to the program:

• Child must be K-12th grade for current 2024-2025 school year

• Custodial parents must complete the attached application and get approval back before purchase.

• Parent must have copies of required documents: tribal enrollment card, enrollment verification for school (i.e. public, private, or homeschool) for EACH child eligible for funding.

If you would like to make arrangements to meet at Walmart in Miami, OK you can so that your purchase will be tax free. Please contact Marco Favela using the contact information below.

You may elect to purchase items and be reimbursed $300 per child but note that reimbursement will NOT be made without first submitting the ORIGINAL receipt to tribal social services.

NO items on the receipt except school clothes/school supplies (this does NOT include school fees, food, drinks, cleaning, or household items, etc.)

All receipts must be received by the tribe by September 30, 2024 for reimbursement.
