TITLE VI NUTRITION PROGRAM
WHAT IS THE TITLE VI NUTRITION PROGRAM?
Provides free lunches five days a week to elderly Indian people 55 years of age or over.
Serving time is from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. CDIB card required.
Spouses are also eligible to eat for free.
Meals are $7 for tribal and non-tribal 54 and under, and children 12 and under are $5.
Volunteers eat for free (Bringing elders or taking elders food, donating time to the kitchen through the noon hour).
Host approximately 10 special events per year, including holiday parties, and more!

Provide information and referrals
Host and transport special events throughout the year. (Fairs, festivals, etc.)
Host arts and crafts department. Seniors make two, keep one, and sell one (excluding shawls). It is a self-supporting program currently through donations and sales of arts and crafts at the community building.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
In order to participate in the Title VI program, individuals must fill out an elder in-take sheet and present their tribal membership or CDIB card and Driver’s License. Come by the center between 8 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday to get started!
